About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to support a marketing technology company building psychological science-based tech. In this role you will support all aspects of product research - including quantitative and qualitative methods. 

We’re looking for someone to support product research - by helping to conduct the research and coordinate it. This includes things like programming and launching surveys, collecting and synthesizing user interview data, reviewing and synthesizing the competitive landscape, and managing various related tasks that support this process. We work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment so specific tasks will fluctuate and change.

We’re looking for someone who is as passionate and excited to jump in and support various research efforts. This role is part-time, around 20-hours/week, with the potential to increase to full-time in the coming months.

Requirements:

  • Project management & delivery:
    • Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously
    • Ability to prioritize across tasks and determine best order of operations, given various deadlines
  • Research skills: 
    • Understanding of basic survey design and how to use various survey platforms
    • Understanding of survey sampling methods and related platforms
    • Ability to synthesize qualitative research
    • Good understanding of market research, martech, and AI landscapes
  • Working style: 
    • Hyper organized 
    • Focused and able to prioritize time across multiple competing demands
    • Extremely detail-oriented 
    • Highly conscientious 
  • Undergraduate degree in Psychology, marketing, sociology, or related field, and 1-2 years of research experience 

Responsibilities:
  • Support customer experience and science teams
  • Support multiple various ongoing product research efforts (surveys, interviews, etc). 
  • Jump in on projects as needed and adapt to changing priorities
  • Be available for up to 20 hours/week, with potential to increase in coming months

Additional Information:

  • This is a hybrid role located in Durham, NC
  • This is an hourly position and pays $30/hour. We anticipate ~20 hours a week, some weeks more and some weeks less.
  • We cannot consider remote applicants
