This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a psychological science-based tech startup. This role will join our tech team and will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our existing AWS data infrastructure, ETL, data architecture & integrations. This role will also be highly involved in our broader platform architecture as we continue to expand new capabilities & product launches.
Database, AWS, & Infrastructure
-- Experience with data administration tools/ SQL client (preferably experience DBeaver)
-- Expert with AWS data services (S3,Glue, Secrets Manager, IAM Identity Center, CloudWatch, Lambda)
-- Python for data pipelinemaintenance and enhancement and version control tools (Github)
-- PostgreSQL/MySQL optimization andnew feature development
API Development & Integrations
-- Build RESTful APIs for externalplatform connections
-- Handle high-volume data exchangewith proper security (AWS Transfer, SFTP)
-- Experience with authentication,rate limiting, and API optimization
Security & Data Protection
-- Data masking and anonymizationtechniques
-- Access control and audit logging
-- Protecting IP while enabling dataexchange
Overall Work Experience
-- 5+ years at consumer data/market research/adtech companies
-- Hands-on experience maintaining data pipelines processing millions of records
-- Built customer-facing APIs or data products
-- Comfortable working independently, collaborating across functions, and shifting between well-scoped projects and more open-ended discovery work
-- Experienced in leveraging AI coding tools
-- Strong evidence of an ability to work independently and collaboratively
-- Strong documentation and communication skills
